These Patient Terms govern your use of HairLinQ as a prospective patient. They apply together with our Website Terms of Use and our Patient Privacy Statement. hairlinq.com is operated by ScalarRatio LLC, 75 E 3rd St, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. HairLinQ is a brand of ScalarRatio LLC. In these terms, "HairLinQ", "we", "us" and "our" mean ScalarRatio LLC, and "you" means the prospective patient using the service.
If anything in these Patient Terms conflicts with the Website Terms of Use, these Patient Terms prevail for your use of the service as a prospective patient.
1. What HairLinQ is
HairLinQ is a comparison and introduction service. We help you find and compare hair-transplant clinics in Turkey, and, when you choose, we introduce you to clinics so they can send you a quote. We are an introducer only. We do not provide treatment, and using HairLinQ costs you nothing.
2. Who can use the service
You must be at least 18 years old to use HairLinQ. You may only submit information about yourself, or about another person whose permission you have and on whose behalf you are entitled to act. You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
3. Medical disclaimer
Please read this section carefully.
HairLinQ is not a clinic, hospital, or medical provider, and we are not a party to any treatment you may receive.
We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or any opinion on whether a procedure is suitable for you.
Using HairLinQ does not create a doctor-patient or any care relationship between you and HairLinQ.
Information on hairlinq.com, including information provided by clinics, is for general information only and should not be relied on as medical advice.
Always consult a qualified medical professional before making any decision about treatment.
Every person is different and individual results vary. No result or outcome is guaranteed. Any before-and-after or example images, where shown, are illustrative only, may be subject to legal restrictions, and may not be available in all countries.
HairLinQ is not for medical emergencies. If you have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services or a doctor.
The clinics are solely responsible for the medical care, advice, assessment, pricing, and treatment they provide. Any treatment agreement is made directly between you and the clinic.
4. How the service works
You submit a request on hairlinq.com, including information about what you are looking for and, if you choose, photographs.
We match your request to a limited number of clinics, up to a maximum of six per prospective patient (up to five standard positions and one exclusive "Gold" position).
Your details are shared with a clinic only when you opt in to receive that clinic's quote. Until you opt in, your request is not sent to that clinic.
Clinics that you opt in to may then contact you with a quote or further questions.
You decide whether, and with which clinic, to proceed. That decision, and any treatment, is entirely yours and is arranged directly with the clinic.
We do not arrange your travel, accommodation, or medical procedure, and we are not involved in the treatment itself.
5. About the clinics and verification
Clinics introduced through HairLinQ are independent third parties. We do not employ or control them, and we do not guarantee their services.
Our verification is limited to checking specified credentials, including a clinic's Ministry of Health International Health Tourism Authorization Certificate. Verification means we have checked those specified items at the relevant time. It is not a warranty or guarantee of a clinic's quality, safety, competence, pricing, results, or of any particular outcome. We do not recommend or endorse any specific clinic.
6. Your responsibilities
Give accurate and truthful information.
Make your own decisions about your health, after taking professional medical advice.
Deal directly with the clinic about your care, your quote, payment, travel, and any complaint about treatment.
Use the service lawfully and as described in the Website Terms of Use.
7. What we are responsible for
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for:
any treatment, advice, assessment, service, pricing, or outcome provided by a clinic, or any dealings between you and a clinic;
decisions you make about treatment; or
the accuracy of information provided by clinics.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence, for fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under the mandatory law that applies to you. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your mandatory legal rights.
8. Your data and consent
We handle your personal data, including health data, as described in our Patient Privacy Statement. Because your request can involve health data and, if you opt in, a transfer of that data to a clinic in Turkey, we ask for your explicit consent at the point of the form and again when you choose to share your details. You can withdraw your consent at any time through our contact form at hairlinq.com/contact.
9. Intellectual property
The hairlinq.com website, its content, and the HairLinQ name and branding are protected as described in our Website Terms of Use. You may use the site only for its intended purpose.
10. Changes
We may update the service and these Patient Terms from time to time. We will post the current version on this page with an updated date above. Significant changes will take effect for new use of the service after they are posted.
11. Complaints and contact
If you have a question or complaint about HairLinQ (as opposed to a clinic's treatment, which you should raise with the clinic), contact us through our contact form at hairlinq.com/contact. We aim to acknowledge your message within 5 working days.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Patient Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. Those mandatory rules prevail over anything inconsistent in these terms.
