This document explains how HairLinQ verifies the clinics on its platform. It is both a requirement for clinics and a trust signal for prospective patients. HairLinQ is a brand of ScalarRatio LLC.
1. What we verify
Before a clinic can receive introductions, and on an ongoing basis, we verify:
that the clinic holds a valid Turkish Ministry of Health International Health Tourism Authorization Certificate (Uluslararasi Saglik Turizmi Yetki Belgesi); and
the clinic's identity and registration details.
2. How we verify
During onboarding, the clinic submits its Authorization Certificate and the identity details we request, through its clinic account.
We check that the certificate is present, appears valid, and is current, and, where a public register is available, we cross-check the certificate against it.
We keep a record of the verification and the documents provided.
3. Ongoing verification
Clinics must keep their Authorization Certificate valid for as long as they use HairLinQ, and must tell us without undue delay if it lapses, is suspended, or is withdrawn.
We re-check certificates at least once a year and when a certificate is due to expire.
If a certificate lapses, cannot be verified, or is found to be invalid, we may suspend or remove the clinic.
4. What verification means, and its limits
Verification means that we have checked the specified credentials at the relevant time. It is a genuine check, but it has limits:
It confirms only the specified items above.
It is not a warranty or guarantee of a clinic's quality, safety, competence, pricing, results, or of any particular treatment outcome.
It does not make HairLinQ responsible for the care a clinic provides. Clinics are independent providers and are solely responsible for their treatment, as set out in our Patient Terms and Website Terms of Use.
Where a clinic is shown to prospective patients as verified, this means only that we have carried out the checks described here.
5. Records
We keep verification records as described in our Clinic Privacy Statement.
