Doku Clinic (Özel Doku Cerrahi Tıp Merkezi) is a private surgical medical centre in the Şişli district on the European side of Istanbul, founded in 2017 by dermatologist Dr. Serkan Aygın and Melda Aygın. At Doku Clinic, we perform FUE, Sapphire FUE and DHI hair transplants, as well as hair transplants for women and beard and eyebrow transplants, alongside plastic surgery, dental treatment and medical aesthetics.

A surgical medical centre with its own specialists

Doku Clinic occupies 5,000 square metres and works with around twenty specialist physicians. Our team includes dermatologists, among them co-founder Dr. Serkan Aygın, who has worked in hair transplantation since 1996, and four anaesthesiology specialists. A hair transplant at Doku Clinic is performed under local anaesthesia combined with sedation and takes six to seven hours, with no hospital stay needed.

Three techniques, including unshaven DHI for women

At Doku Clinic, grafts are extracted with a micromotor. With FUE, recipient channels are opened with metal slits or, in Sapphire FUE, with sapphire tips; with DHI, grafts are implanted directly with a Choi implanter pen without opening channels first. For women, we usually prefer DHI, because it does not require shaving the head.
